This app is a digitized version of the official HIV care and treatment guidelines no. 5456 from the Vietnamese Ministry of Health. The guidelines and app are available in both Vietnamese and English, and are free to access for any user.
Use this app to easily access the latest official guidelines for HIV/AIDS care and treatment conveniently from your smartphone. Search for specific information using the in-app search bar to quickly locate what you are looking for.
Tap the bookmark icon above each section of text or each individual chart to easily save sections to your “Bookmarks." Any section or table may be bookmarked for further reference and quickly accessed from the “Bookmarks” section -- straight from the navigation bar.
Additionally, recent pages may be accessed in the “Recent” tab on the bottom navigation bar. Here, recently visited sections and tables are listed in reverse chronological order. If you are reading a section and navigate away, instantly locate that section again from the “Recent” tab.
Calculate useful data such as BMI, Creatinine Clearance, and Child-Pugh score using calculators built right into the app. Just input a few fields of data and get the results right on your smartphone, instantly.
If you have any questions or feedback, you can send this directly to the app’s management team by using the “Feedback” function. Simply enter your email address and write down your feedback, and you will receive an email in response. Your question may even be published in the app’s Frequently Asked Questions section.
Finally, keep an eye out for messages from the Vietnam Administration of HIV/AIDS Control (VAAC) directly in the app. In the “Inbox” tab, you can see the latest notices about guidelines updates and other relevant health issues straight from the VAAC.
The HIV/AIDS treatment and care guidelines were issued in accordance with Decision No. 5456/QD-BYT dated November 20, 2019 of the Minister of Health.. These guidelines include recommendations on antiretroviral therapy (ART), pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT), TB preventive therapy (TPT) in people living with HIV, treatment for co-infections, and prevention and treatment of opportunistic infections.. This guide is intended for healthcare professionals.
